yesterday i took part in a drawing workshop by dionne swift!

it was really good and we ended up with completely different drawings we would usually do and things we can do later ourselves.

we used different techniques to create different marks...

loved what we came out with!

today i have been going back to felting!

haven't used felt for a while so thought i would give it a go for my new project!

i looked at images like these and was inspired by colours and shapes...

i have looked at combining finger knitting, wool and felt to create different textures and colours.

i also created some felt rings and strings ready to dry and knit with :)

i have also been teaching myself how to knit taking inspiration from imagery like this...

i looked at knitting and put a twist on it making it more rustic and raw looking, experimenting with size of stitch, amount of rows and tightness.

while knitting i have also been carrying on with my drawings using different techniques like left handed, blind and continuous line. i also experimented with different timed drawings from 10 seconds to 3 minutes. i chose different aspects of the image and drew them next to each other and overlapped looking at the different marks i can create while not thinking to much about what it looks like and how realistic it turns out...

while getting stuck in to my final major project at uni it has been snowinggg!!

i also had a big deadline last week but i could finally say au reviour to my dissertation!!!! wooooo!!
